What CPA-Verified means.

An independent CPA performs specific checks against the owner's records and reports what they find, under agreed-upon procedures. For revenue, they agree each filed year to the IRS transcript, and the trailing twelve months to the income statement and bank deposits, and report any differences. It is not an audit. It is not an opinion.

Why this exists.

Most marketplaces show numbers that are self-reported. Late in diligence, a buyer finds a difference and uses it to reduce the price already agreed. Non-QoE diligence findings and EBITDA discrepancies together accounted for nearly half of broken LOIs last year. Watch why CPA-Verified SMB exists.

Why it matters.

Buyers see figures that have already been checked against source documents by an independent CPA, and owners only prove what buyers actually asked about. Diligence and QoE confirm what was disclosed already instead of surfacing late-stage surprises.

How to read a listing.

Listings start self-reported with an owner's asking price, industry and region. Disclosures can become CPA-Verified, and the color shows the status.
